The Fourth Wise Man, a Children's Christmas Play.
A participatory children's play is planned to take a group of 50-70 youngsters on a journey through the Garden where they will discover the true magic and mysteries of Christmas. Our aim is to engage the children in the Christmas story in a way that will facilitate a deeper understanding of how we can contribute to and share in one another's lives. Children are urged to bring a wrapped gift for one of our local children's homes.
The play will start at 7pm. Tickets are on sale at R 20 per child and R10 per adult accompanying children. Parents are encouraged to come along especially if you have more than one child participating.
The cast from the Fourth Wise Man Children's Play will start our Carols evening off with a short nativity play which will be followed by carol singing lead by Evan Rodgers, music director of Jubilee, and his band to make this candle lit evening even more special. Candles and song sheets are included in the entry fee.
More about the bands
The annual concerts in the garden again features lesser known but not lesser talented artists.
Eluka & Cheech are consist of a group of young musicians from Cape Town.
Both share core members and a feel-good pop sensibilies, but Eluka, with the addition of the young singer Avujo, violin and contempory song-covers
and jazz standards is very different from Cheech. Cheech is a typically fun and funky Cape Town band with great original melodies.
& Johann Kotze
with some of his compositions for acoustic guitar.
