Johann's music

Johann has been composing his own music on the steel string guitar and slide guitar for some years.
Some work will be released in conventional formats for sale (see the catalog), but most of the music will only be available on the site as free MP3’s.
Included are demos's, commercial recordings, solo and band things, outtakes and old tapes of songs and stuff from dusty boxes, as well as some new works performed on various instruments other than the guitar.

Towerlig also includes productions of other like minded artists as well as commercial projects, staged or recorded.

I made a soundtrack for the play Die Reënvoëltjie wat melk kon maak. It is to be featured at Woordfees and KKNK 2006.

Plans for making a solo guitar CD's or three are still alive, just postponed for another year or so.......
Included are a meditative solo guitar and slide album (Slowness), a slide album (My blues) with various blues- and world music styles, and Piekniek Music, an album of light guitar and ensemble music.
