Making up a list of songs and tracklisting them, hearing the music in my head without having to play them has been the best part of compiling the three albums I am curently working on. Well, that I have compiled. 'Piekniek Music' could have been called 'Daydream music' for that reason, but has instead taken its title from an album I recorded long ago with a folk/world/classical ensemble in a similar style and feel. This is a collection of guitar and guitar based pieces from over the years, old and new. The biggest challenge other than finding time to actually practice playing these pieces is also in finding time to remember the compositions, since I don't write music. (more to follow)
